There's Team Edward and Team Jacob, but we've always been cheerleaders for Team Buffy. And now that the television show, "Ringer" has captured our attention, we can say that we are simply Team Sarah Michelle Gellar. So naturally, we were doing herkies when the lovely actress wore our Fountain Splash earrings on the cover of the December 2011 issue of Self Magazine. RAH!

Jewelry we designed in conjunction with the program, "Discarded to Divine" will be on exhibit at the de Young Museum in San Francisco tonight. Clothing, accessories and jewelry designers were asked to contribute and create one of a kind items made from materials found in the discarded bins at the St. Vincent de Paul Society Help Desk. The stipulation was that all designs had to be inspired by works of art shown at the de Young Museum. We converted cufflinks, tie tacks into earrings inspired by Gauguin's “Tahitian Women on the Beach” and Oceanic tribal art. We even transformed a pair of earrings from the lost and found, into a necklace that was inspired by Van Gogh’s “Starry Night Over The Rhone.”

Here is the finished necklace along with two other earrings we made for the benefit.

The donated jewelry will be sold at a gala auction on April 28, 2011 to benefit the good works of St. Vincent de Paul Society, known for providing a helping hand to the homeless and working poor. For ticket information to attend the gala auction, please click here.

“Hospitality Design,” an influential interior design trade magazine, dedicated its January/February 2011 issue to the idea of inspiration. Editors interviewed designers and artists from the creative fields of photography, stage design, fashion, food, architecture and fine jewelry to provide its readers with a little spark and stimuli. Influential interviewees included fashion designer Chris Benz and David Revere McFadden, chief curator of the Museum of Arts and Design, NY.

I'm incredibly happy that portions of my interview were included in this feature and that our 18kt gold, aquamarine and diamond pendant necklace made the cover of the magazine. The digital version of the magazine can be found here. The article begins on page 69.

All of our special orders have shipped and all of our letters and packages have been received. And so, the final and official numbers are in ... Patu received more Christmas/holiday cards than we did, and we of course, love it! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our favorite supermodel!

It's always a great feeling whenever our fine jewelry is featured in a holiday gift guide. This season we were on the gift guides of Gwyneth Paltrow and More.com. (slide 11) Our silhouette pendants even made People.com. The gracious Monica of idazzle.com featured our diamond and silk cord bracelets on her gift obsession list. And the always elegant Diana Jarrett of Color-n-Ice featured our multi-gem earrings on her "Lust Have List for Holiday Gifts."

Avoiding the middleman, StylemakerTV decided a direct letter to Santa (sent via Twitter, of course!) was the best course of action. On her wishlist to the Jolly One, she asked for our 18kt gold, diamond and pink tourmaline "Fes" ring from our Moroccan Garden collection.

Santa, are you listening? StylemakerTV is a gracious arbiter of style and we can vouch that she is verrry verrry nice.
